Not Worrying, Thankful

What are you  thankful for?

My heart is so full, yet it doesn’t really make sense.  When life falls apart and you feel a bit like Job in the temperal sense, you expect to feel… some negative emotion.

But today, my heart is so full of God’s greatness – grateful; and full of His peace – peaceful.

We are here temporarily.  We are in relationship with God eternally.

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. ( Philippians 4:6-7, The Message)

Isn’t it soooo amazing to stand back and actually observe yourself being carried, encouraged and cared for by our Heavenly Dad? He is forever faithful, our provider and best of all – He loves you as if you were His only child!!!

    “instead of worrying, PRAY”
Four words. I need to hear them all the time. And I AM getting better about these four words.
