Thanks for your comment David. I keep thinking about Joseph and Daniel. They couldn’t make U-turns. They had to keep going and find out what was behind curtain number 3. Sometimes, we get to be on a God-adventure. Thankfully, we can trust that He sees the big picture and has it all under control.

Very well said Kim. We want to live like Sarah, but the waiting and hardship confuses us. It is in the hard times, the pain, the suffering, the waiting, the labor that God forges our character. Not only does God craft us out of the fire of life but He introduces Himself to us little by little. As time goes by if we are listening and watching we look back and see that we have fallen in love with the creator of the universe who also created in us a new heart. We get a new heart that hears Him clearly, feels his presence with intense joy, so we look for Him in every circumstance, because we k now and love Him.

What, my purpose isn’t to be perfect??? Thanks, I needed that, made me stop and think about the journey, i need to slow down sometimes and just enjoy the ride and bake those cookies, or play that game or even smell those flowers. Thanks Kim. I have a renewed sense of hope starting today.

As a teacher, I want to apologize for such insensitivity and crudeness when you were in school! She may have been frustrated, and she may have meant well, but she was totally wrong, and way off-base!

As a friend, this calls for a cup of coffee, and good conversation! Truly, how are we to respond to ourselves and others when “the box” is all that seems to be “out there”?
