One of the blogs I read, The High Calling of Our Daily Work, talked about this verse today:
And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved. [Romans 11:6]
Often, when I get devotionals in my email, I just read the verse. This was the case today. I couldn’t get past the verse.
I don’t do anything on my own worth doing – even the privilege of serving others is His, to give and take away. Those moments during the day when we have an opportunity to make a difference – gifts from God.
